just opened my yahoomail and noticed a number of blog opp notifications from blogsvertise for my two blogs.. geeeezzz.. i missed those 4 paid-to-post opportunities, the oldest of which is just 2 weeks ago opp.. it's been a while since i last clean up my email and with a flood of messages sent to me for weeks now, i didn't notice those important ones.. tsk tsk.. all opps were expired now.. i tried to accept it all, but oh well, it's too late! how sad! gotta be aware of the notifications next time.. have to check email regularly now.. this is one of the disadvantages of using lots of email and didn't know which one i used for which.. :(

so i got an email notification from loudlaunch informing me that this blog has been approved for some money making opportunities they offer.. loudlaunch is one of the paid-to-blog sites i joined since i started monetizing my first ever blog and yes, they really pay that's why i felt a little excited to get back in the blogosphere and start updating my blogs again.. oh well, got surprised as i kinda abandoned this blog for quite some time now, so outdated and almost dying! now i want to revive the spirit of blogging in me.. this is actually my first post for this year.. lolz.. got in the mood to blog again! fingers crossed that i wont get lazy to do updates.. wheeeew! :D

all of us were saddened by the shocking tragedy happened here in the Philippines particularly in Luzon. it is really a heart-weakening disaster. i couldn’t imagine myself in the shoe of the victims. but what if..?! how traumatic that could be?! i just realize how LUCKY i am.. thank God!

by the way, surfing the net, i found this appeal to pray for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy and it goes:

Bless the people of the Philippines who has lost their houses, belongings, lives , due to typhoon Ondoy. We know that you have the power to provide and to take, please make a miracle and bless them abundantly.

i like taking sunset pictures and when i was in Manila, i actually thought of taking some photos of sunset at Baywalk since i have seen real good pictures of sunset there but unfortunately i was not able to do so.. huhu.. chance not grabbed! tsk.. tsk.. but anyway, when i was hundreds of feet above the ground as well as when i was eventually thousands of feet above the ground boarding a plane, i really took the chance to take some pix of sunset from my window seat.. hehe.. good thing our flight was 4:45pm then!

latest stop this summer 09: Mati

2 days after i arrived back home here in Davao from Manila, i then went to Mati to have another trip with friends.. hehe.. well, its summer, why not?! this time, we went to Mati and stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.. and for that short vacation, we hopped in 3 beautiful resorts -- Cinco Masao Beach Resort and Wanniban Island for our first 2 days and 2 nights, and Dahican for our last day. Actually, we're supposedly bound to 2 islands for our island hopping on our second day stay in Mati (masao) but we have only visited Wanniban Island that time since the waves going to Pujada Island is kinda not-so-safe for travelling, so to be safe we only hopped in one island from Masao, the Wanniban Island.. We should have visited 4 different "paradise" if only our plan was followed! hehe.. but anyway, here are some raw pix i can share..

Cinco Masao
(i don't have lots of pix of Cinco Masao since its kind of hard to take a pic of it, it doesn't have seashore as you notice the cottages are situated in the sea premise itself as in in the water... hehe..)

Wanniban Island
(this is a not-so-developed island, almost virgin! A part of the island is so rocky, good for taking pictures.. hehe.. But there's also a part perfect for swimming... white sand, crystal clear water -- so nice!)

Dahican
(this is what i like the most among all we've visited in Mati.. why? because of my funny reason! i think this is a good place for the not-so-good in swimming like me.. the waves are very big in Dahican, most likely for surfers out there, so no need to swim, just face the waves, jump over it or sometimes under it if its too big and high to jump over! you will really feel the spank of the waves in your body and face and its really really fun! hahaha.. it is also not developed but see how such a beautiful place left unnoticed?! good to have seen the real beauty of Dahican before the water becomes a little polluted or the place becomes crowded like some commercial resorts, who knows, right?! anyway, right after Dahican is actually the Pacific Ocean that's why Dahican has so big waves..)

meet the endangered animals at crocodile park

it's my first time to visit the new crocodile park here in davao city.. i was able to visit it way back when it was still located in it's original place but i guess just few years ago, the endangered animals have their new home now.. hehe.. we were actually planning to go there last friday but it rained that's why we're not able to go there then.. they have this "show" every friday, saturday and sunday (4:30pm) to entertain the visitors. that's why we want to go there on fridays (not saturday or sunday as we have things to do on those days). anyway, even though the show is not really long, but i definitely enjoyed taking pictures with the animals.. hehe.. it's my first time to touch a snake, a big snake -- i can't carry it by myself as i am small that's why i have to have someone with me to carry the snake, it's real heavy literally much much heavier than me, so BIG and so cute yet so timorous! i have touched an eagle as well as a baby crocodile but unfortunately i don't have a good picture of it.. hehe.. below are some pix i can share here! :)

proposal to add 50 more congressmen in the Philippines

i was watching TEN (the evening news) just now and was kind of surprised when one segment of the said news program brought out the issue here in the Philippines of adding 50 more congressmen in the office.. the reason? because of population growth in the country. OH EM GEE! can anybody knock my head about this and help me understand how helpful for the country and its people this move will be , or should i say can anybody knock the head of the author of this resolution? the Philippines currently have 250 congressmen and adding another 50 would make it to 300.. what do you think guys? is this a wise resolution or just another piece of crap?

anyway, i don't know the whole issue of this as what was mentioned in the news is i guess just a bit of it so i googled this one and found out the opinion of one of the Inquirer columnist, Neal Cruz.. reading his view on the said matter gave me an idea that additional congressmen means additional budget for these congressmen's salaries and allowances and any other stuffs which obviously will come from the money of the people.. so speaking of the money of the people, i remember the issues before increasing the taxes to support the country's needs and to pay our country's debts, and adding 50 congressmen in the government office would surely needs money, as i said earlier, for salaries, etc.. so i am worrying if this proposal will be approved, does that mean a higher probability to increase taxes as well and again? think of it, there are those saying that the taxes paid at present is not enough to support the needs of our country and its people, how much more if there will be another slice of the division and budgeting of people's money? hmmm... think think think!

i want to be an INTERPRENEUR

i am thinking what really i want to be.. i am already a graduate of bachelor's degree, have applied to some companies, have been trained but in the end, i always don't want to continue.. last night i figured it out, i coined the term i want to be, i don't know if the term is already existing though, i think of this without any reference but my mind.. hehe.. anyway, i realized from mind and heart, i want to be an INTERPRENEUR, that's short for internet entrepreneur.. i always want to do business and i am so hooked in the web.. so i am thinking, why not combine the two factors i'm interested in, right?! it may be hard, impossible, i know, but i always think i can reach just even a 10% of Rich Jerk or Professor James Bradley have.. oh well, am i dreaming?? maybe, but would like to try the risk and would like to set my determination in achieving this.. for now i just do blogging, adsense and publish reviews.. and so far so good and i am titling myself as a jobless earner! hehe..

I was surfing the net early this afternoon and just bump in another strange true to life story written in MailOnline by James Tozer. I went on the page to read the whole article and found out that there was this man (neil brady) who wants a divorce with her wife (emma brady) but didn't tell her, instead, he broadcasted it through his facebook account with the status/message that reads: "Neil Brady has ended his marriage with Emma Brady".. oh, so harsh! doing such a move considering that facebook community has millions of user all over the world, how would this wife feel?! isn't it embarrassing?!

i got banned again! this is my second time to get my account banned, first was in sponsoredreviews, one of my blogs was banned there.. and now in a product review site i joined, reviewstream.. well, that's the result of being a hard headed, violating the rules! haha.. i am actually aware of the rules but i just want to test submitting a review that i have already pulished in another review site and there goes they have traced it! no warnings, the next day after i submitted my review, they have sent a notice thru email informing me of my violation with a "your account has been closed!" statement.. hehe.. so be it! i'll stick with my first review site then!

have you ever borrowed something to your friends? do you know that you have something to return to your friends (money or anything)? do you initiate to return it or just wait for your friend to ask you to return it?

well just asking.. i really felt so bad now 'coz someone borrowed something from me months ago and i need it badly, or should i say my mother needs it! days, weeks and months pass by but i never asked her to return it to me, i waited for her to initiate but haven't heard from her eversince.. here comes one day my mother needs the borrowed things so i asked my friend how's my stuffs and when can she return it to me.. so long story but to make it short, up to now, nothing was returned to me.. i keep on contacting her, through texts and YM, but haven't got any reply lately.. it just saddens me now because i haven't seen any effort from her.. if she can't return those stuffs, why not tell me properly, even a very lame excuse or alibi will be just fine, magparamdam ka lang! i just felt so tired of her hide-and-seek game! i want to understand her, maybe she's just too busy with her work, but for pete's sake, how much time will she need just to text or YM me, as i know she's online everyday, every night! i have the patience, but i just got to the point that i can't endure it at all and it's too tiring to deal with such people.. i believe it's a bad manner not to return borrowed things even just those fancy little stuffs, isn't it?

that is the only piece i hang in my room's wall, i really don't want to put so many decorations in my room but i just let that one be hanged in my wall since i made that one.. that was my project way back high school, i guess in my T.H.E. class.. i am not good in drawing nor painting but i tried my best to do that one and i guess it is not bad at all for a first-timer like me.. hehe.. but just yesterday, my mother saw cobwebs at the edges and the surface of the canvas and wiped it with a wet cloth and that's the result now -- the color washed out! haha.. oh my poor pooh! it's now slightly damaged! good thing though, it can still be recognized as pooh! haha.. its been so long since i clean my room, that's why cobwebs are "sprouting" just anywhere.. hehe.. :]

just now, i ate the last slice of cake we bought for the new year celebration! haha.. until now, its been weeks and we haven't finished the 2 boxes of cake we bought.. it already exceeded the "best before date" written in the box but then it still tastes so good, love it, and so i ate it with no second thoughts and nothing happened to me as of now so i think its ok.. hehe.. i was thinking the cake i ate may not at all in its best quality but maybe still eatable?

is it still good to eat foods that exceeded the "best before date" or the expiry date? any idea there?

so i was reading random articles in BBC News just now and i landed to this one of a kind strange news entitled "Baby girl born to dead mother" dated January 12, 2009 -- Monday, isn't it real strange? is this a mere miracle or a product of human intelligence with the help of technology?

here goes an excerpt of the news:

"An ice-skating star's baby has been born two days after she collapsed and died from a brain hemorrhage, a hospital has confirmed.

Doctors at Oxford's John Radcliffe hospital kept Jayne Soliman's heart beating until they had delivered her baby daughter Aya Jayne on Friday.
Baby Aya was born prematurely at 25 weeks by Caesarean section weighing just over 2lb.
She is now being cared for by doctors at Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital.

but anyway, here's the list of my new year's resolution.. this may look like just an ordinary resolution, ung tipong enumerated list lang, un lang, period.. 'di rin masusunod.. in the end, still completely the same "me" compared to the past year.. more of just a mere dead yet written resolution and not working for real to make it! pero 'di rin nman masama maglista, dba? malay mo mgawa ko! hehe..

be determined to work! - i see myself as the laziest person though most of the time i feel so meh!
(fact: meh is the term commonly used in tv show The Simpsons to describe "boring". This term will be officially included in the launching of the newest edition of Collins English dictionary.) just a little information to you all! hehe..

don't make things too complex, too complicated! - this is my talent -- to make things complicated! i think i think too much! most of the things i consider problems are actually not problems..

eat real healthy foods 3x or more a day- obviously to be healthy and to be fit! ewan ko lang!

minimize buying expensive things - i'm jobless for more or less 10 months now.. i don't have allowance anymore since march 2008.. i only depend on the money i had saved when i was still studying and the money i earn online.. somehow i feel at some point i wasted my money, imagine in 2 months, i wasted (overstatement) more or less 15,000 buying luxuries.. hehe.. so impulsive! so now, i should not spend my money for my "wants" anymore!

have the drive to make bonding2 - i am not only lazy to work, i am also lazy to go to gimmicks, parties, socializing and bonding2 activities.. many can prove that! lol!

join charitable and reach out activities! - my ultimate dream.. those less fortunate people made me feel so blessed in life! even if i don't know them and they don't know me, i guess they inspire me to be simple and contented in life and so by doing, i want to reach out to them.. it's always a good feeling to help and i want to be filled with that feeling everyday!

wheee.. so happy! i made it! thanks to the internet! good thing i have pending receivables this december before x'mas! a big thanks to blogsvertise, ciao, neobux, myLot, and to some online advertisers.. hehe.. got additional funds in my paypal now.. haha.. atlas the money i had been saving in paypal is now at hand.. and as promised, i had bought mama and papa a present, something to give them this x'mas as my "thank you" to them.. and oh, thanks to SM for the mall wide sale, i took advantage of the discounts and didn't have to pay P600 for a light yellow polo shirt for papa, as well as more than a thousand pesos for a Sylvia Santos leather bag for mama.. so when i got home this night, i handed my unwrapped gifts to them and they graciously accept it but they just don't know i am 10x happier than they are.. truly, it's better to give than to receive and i think the feeling is more rewarding! hehe..

so many considerations

it's almost two weeks of training -- during these days i only eat ONCE a day, just a hot milo during break time and when i go home -- no breakfast, no lunch, no meriendas, only a meal for dinner kasi whole day akong tulog! lalo na nga akong pumayat, super skinny! to the people who know me, imagine how i look now, worse than before! haha.. but its ok, i still want to continue my training then! BUT 2nd week of our training, that was the week that gave me reasons to stop.. daming reasons and i don't want to enumerate each.. i don't want to say anything nor explain anything, people wont understand after all, so many considerations! usually when someone asks why, i just say, nkakatamad na, its tiring! so leave that reason as it is! bleh!! my reason of wanting to have a job is to have something to buy gifts this x'mas, don't worry i'll try my online money making to raise a good amount of money before christmas or new year! hehe.. mgwhole day na pud ko sa internet mangita ug kaauhan! :]

whole day now, i'm looking for any site to download God of War or Tekken.. i've been playing different battles in bomberman (an old style game but i love it) and some mind games in my psp.. haha.. i am still trying to understand how final fantasy and dead to rights work coz i can't really figure out how to play it, pano ba nman, japanese ung ndownload ko! haha.. so hard to look for psp games in english format, alam ko bawal ung download2 pero la ako pera to purchase eh or to register online for unlimited downloads! anyway, i was a kind of excited when i have downloaded the Call of Duty last week, it sounds and looks like a "boyish" game but well of course at first i'm ignorant to it, i don't know how to play it but now i get it but a little disappointed, i don't know but i think the game somehow lacks excitement.. so now, i just feel like i want to have something new, something "boyish" set of games.. i'm looking for any "boyish" game with a maximum of 2G file size or kung me maganda na almost 4G, then cge try ko nlng din! :]

unusual job application

written exam at 12am.. next few days, job interview at 12am plus assessment at 2am - 7am..

have you experienced such job application? that's what i've been doing this past week and i tell you, its tiring! exam, interview, assessment in the middle of the night or better say, it's dawn -- and i need my mind to be in condition at those sleeping hours, kung hindi eh mapapahiya lang ako during assessment! i don't know if i'll like the job, cguro i-lalike ko nlng xa.. hehe.. tiring as it was, but i guess it's all worth it.. after the assessment thank God 'di ako dinala ng HR sa small room dun sa building nila just to say the not-so-good to hear words, ung "di ka pumasa".. hehe.. un kasi set-up 'pag di pumasa sa assessment eh tulad nung mga kasabayan ko.. anyway, what happened was, at 4:30am that day after the one-by-one simulation or assessment as they call it, i was told to go directly to the HR office, i was the first to simulate then! haha.. un nga, ngchachat pala ung HR and the team leader ng account na inaplayan ko, i was told i passed daw and since my mind was not in good condition anymore, i felt so sleepy, ung reaction ko, ok -- no smile, no excitement or whatsoever, the only thing i want that time is to go home and sleep kaso lang i have to wait na matapos ang lahat ng applicants sa simulation so dun ako nkatunganga sa office nghinhintay, so sleepy! i didn't expect un pla ung style ng application sa kanila.. hehe.. have to wait for the schedule of training na.. 'di pa ng-uumpisa eh parang ayaw ko na but i need to pursue this kasi nga i need to have money this christmas pambili ng regalo ke mama and papa.. hahaii.. :]

need a job before x'mas

i'm gonna look for a job now coz i need some money this christmas! job hunting na naman ako! haha.. i need a job before december.. ung bank savings ko, nbabawasan 'di na man ndadagdagan -- withdraw nang withdraw, no deposit!

even if my mind and body still don't want to work, kelangan ko mgkapera this time kasi nga christmas is coming.. i have to have something to give to mama and papa although sabi nila advance christmas gift ko na sa kanila yung kitchen utensil organizer na binili ko para sa kanila, para sa bahay.. hehe.. they've been planning to change our old dish organizer so when i saw a good but not so expensive one, binili ko na xempre pinatingnan ko muna sa kanila kung pwede ba un sa bahay, buti ok nman.. it feels so good to buy something for the house parang "i belong" na tlaga sa house na 'to.. wala mang trabaho but still i manage to buy what they were planning to buy months ago.. sarap pala ng feeling kaya may next project na nman ako kaso i need to look for a job pa para mkapag-ipon, para mabili ko ung gusto nila for the house or should i say for our home.. christmas gift for them is the reason of me wanting to earn this time.. :]

my first post

obviously my first post! the template i first use here almost looks like my other blog -- same color, same shade of green so i made this new one but still with the shade of green as i love the color so much. this also has same name with my older blog, except for the [dot] between my name and the added "element".. my other blog which is now almost dying for months of being outdated is entitled "lizELement" and this new one, "liz.element".. see the difference? so let me emphasize the importance of the [dot] since that makes this blog and my other blog different! anyway, i am planning to make this as non-monetized blog unlike the other blogs i have (except for the adsense)..

so hope to make this one always alive with updates! :]
